Ethiopia -- History --
Ethiopia has the longest known history as an independent country in Africa. It is also known by its historic name Abyssinia.
Ethiopia goes back to the kingdom of Axum, which is created under the influence of Egypt and the kingdom of Sheba in Yemen today.
Semitic tribes settled in the southern part of the Arabian Peninsula in 6.5 BC in northern Ethiopia, bearing with them and their
civilization. There they mixed with the Cushitic peoples, which are under the influence of Egypt.
Ethiopia -- Economy --
Ethiopia is an agricultural country, is grown cereals and legumes, coffee, sugar cane, cotton, tobacco, citrus and other crops.
The animals are reared cattle, sheep, goats, camels. From mineral resources to mining gold, manganese, silica sand, copper ore,
and in more limited quantities - natural gas and platinum. Industrial enterprises are mainly in light industry, the larger of
which are located in Addis Ababa. In recent years, developing and tourism as the main attractions are the obelisks at Axum, the
palace complex in Gondar, the rock churches in Lalibela severnoetiopskiya city, gubernatorial palace, churches and mosques in Harare,

Ethiopia is a federal parliamentary republic, whereby the Prime Minister is the head of government. President is elected for a term of 6 years.
Federal legislative power is vested in both the government and both chambers of parliament, the Council of Peoples' Representatives shall be
composed of 547 members elected for 5 years and a Federal Council composed of 112 members, one from each nationality and each additional member
1 000 000 people are employed by regional advisers. Ethiopian justice system is based on a legal system that coexists with a share of the federal
courts and other regional courts. The Federal Supreme Court is the highest court of the country. The chairman and deputy chairman of the Federal
Supreme Court are recommended by the Prime Minister and appointed by the MPs.
